The 2025 Joint Annual Meeting of the Entomological Society of Alberta and the Entomological Society of Canada will take place from 5-8 October 2025 in Calgary, Alberta.
The JAM will be held at the Best Western Premier Calgary Plaza Hotel & Conference Centre. More information will be posted here as the conference theme and program develop.
Logo Design Contest
The theme of the 2025 JAM is “New Bugs Rising”, referring to arthropod species that are expanding their existing ranges within Canada, that are newly established in Canada, or that are on the horizon of becoming new inhabitants of Canada. We invite submissions of logo designs that embody this theme. The creator of the design selected for the JAM logo will receive $500. Four runners-up will receive $50 each.
Logos must be submitted by 15 September 2024, and winners will be announced 4 October 2024.
