The Entomological Society of Alberta strives to provide resources to both professional and amateur entomologists in Alberta. The organization started with the intent “to foster the advancement, exchange, and dissemination of the knowledge of insects in relation to their importance in agriculture, horticulture, forestry, public health, industry and for its own sake, among the people of the Province of Alberta.” Therefore, we hope to provide resources to encourage everyone to appreciate entomology.

A list of learning resources – particularly relevant for teachers – is provided here.

As well, the ESA publishes the Proceedings of the Entomological Society of Alberta, which represents the presentations from the Annual General Meetings. Proceedings and other useful resources can be found here.
